Cosmetic Surgery BOTULINUM TOXIN (BOTOX)

Botulinum toxin, better known as Botox, is used to treat inter-eyebrow wrinkles or “lion wrinkles” and crow’s feet wrinkles. These expression lines darken the eyes and often gives a severe look.

The botulinum toxin is injected using a very fine needle into the muscles responsible for wrinkles, which will allow the muscles to relax.

The result is visible after a few days and lasts on average 3 to 6 months after the first session. From the second injection, the results can be more lasting (6 to 8 months). The injections should then be repeated every 3 to 6 months.

After the injection, you may see localized redness at the injection points that disappear after 3 to 6 days, or bruising.

Without there being real complications, in some cases, localized imperfections (persistence of small wrinkles) can be observed especially when the treatment was started late. There may also be insufficient and even asymmetrical results: this is due to the fact that we have more or less powerful muscles and above all often asymmetrical. These imperfections are generally treated with a complementary injection of Botulinum Toxin, in the first 15 days following the injection.

HYALURONIC ACID

An injection of hyaluronic acid is a procedure of cosmetic surgery intended to correct, by a simple and rapid means, certain signs of aging present on the face, by filling or giving volume where necessary (nasolabial folds, perioral wrinkles, wrinkles and fine lines on the face, reshaping of the lips, restructuring of facial volumes).

Hyaluronic acid found naturally in the body is responsible for the hydration and tone of the skin. With age, the first signs of skin aging are linked to a decrease in its concentration, the skin is less hydrated, becomes drier, thins, wrinkles and furrows are formed.

The injection is made using fine needles, after removing makeup and disinfecting the skin.

The results are immediate, the facial features are plumped up, the face more attractive.

Hyaluronic acid is an absorbable product, and the resistance over time will depend on the area injected.

Local post-injection reactions may appear, edema, redness, bruising, but are however only temporary.

The intervention, under general anesthesia, makes it possible to erase a bump, to correct a deviation, to refine or structure the tip of the nose. The nasal bone and cartilage will be reshaped.

The consequences are rarely painful and it is rather the inability to breathe through the nose (due to the presence of wicks) which is the main inconvenience of the first days. Edemas (swelling) and bruises (bruises) appear in the eyelids, the size and duration of which vary greatly from one individual to another.

A period of 2 to 3 months is necessary to have a good overview of the result, knowing that the final aspect will only be obtained after 6 months to a year of slow and subtle evolution.
